Queens Adolescent Diversion Program
At-risk youth matched with mentors for one-to-one tutoring for 15 weeks. Mentors link youth with appropriate community resources and advocates on behalf of youth, including visiting the youthv¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s school for assessment purposes. Mentor spends four to six hours per week with youth.

Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation
Youth mentoring tutorial program combining participation in sports and arts with academic tutoring and homework help. Peer tutoring is conducted by talented high school and college age peer tutors or volunteers who assist elementary and junior high age participants with their homework.

Vic Hanson Rec Center
Includes the broad goals of academic and developmental support as well as instruction in the fundamentals of tennis and physical fitness. It is coordinated with our Sports Department each Spring. Bow offered at both the Williamsbridge Oval Rec Center in the Bronx and the Vic Hanson Rec Center in Queens, thereby doubling the number of youth reached. They also have a summer institute.
