Alice Austen House

Upon entering the Alice Austen House Museum, students step back in time and enter the Victorian world that Alice lived in. After a brief introduction to Alice and her family's home, each child will be given a guidebook containing reproductions of photographs that Alice took more than 100 years ago.
American Immigrant Wall of Honor
The largest Wall of names in the world, pays tribute to America's rich cultural heritage, celebrating American immigration from its earliest beginnings right up to present day. Over 600,000 names are currently inscribed, representing virtually every nationality, including those who endured forced migration from slavery as well as our earliest settlers, the American Indian.
Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum
The Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum is owned by the City of New York, operated by the International Garden Club, Inc. and is a member of the Historic House Trust. A New York City Landmark, the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum is one of the most beautifully located country seats in the City. The restoration of this Mansion is an outstanding example of effective preservation in New York City.
Boscobel is situated on the east bank of the Hudson River opposite the United States Military Academy at West Point. The mansion and surrounding grounds have panoramic views of the Hudson Highlands and the river. The Hudson was recently named one of ten "American Heritage Rivers." The mansion dates from the early nineteenth century and contains one of the nation's leading collections of furniture and decorative arts from the Federal period, much of it made by premier New York cabinetmakers such as Duncan Phyfe and Michael Allison.
Bowne House (ca. 1661) is the oldest house in Queens and among the oldest in New York City. Bowne House has been a musuem since 1947.
